Do you need an attorney to represent you in your real estate transaction? There are always legal questions that arise, and I am not a lawyer. Your Purchase and Sale Agreement needs to be reviewed to protect your interests, and contractual extensions may be needed.
Many family attorneys can and will handle real estate transactions. However, like many other areas of practice, this is best left to specialized real estate attorneys who deal with these matters on a daily basis. As part of your closing costs, you will already be paying for a closing attorney appointed by the Bank to protect the bank’s interests. The Bank’s interest in making sure you have clean title and no legal issues with the property is the same as yours, and the actual mortgage contracts are standardized documents. I have arranged with the attorneys below that they will review your Purchase and Sale Agreement and respond to any legal questions that arise on your behalf while acting as the Bank’s closing attorney, so that you incur no additional legal expenses. If you still wish to hire a separate attorney, you are welcome to, but I have made sure that you already will have legal guidance. These attorneys are approved by my selected lenders.
